Right now we cook, eat and meet wherever we can. The communal area will be the heart of the village: the place for family dinners, music, meetings, Belonging In Between, workshops and long talks under the stars.
It is built by the MV Fam with our own hands. What we need help with is the materials: timber, roofing, lights, fixings and the tools to put it all together.
One long table where everyone eats together, every night.
A covered space, so we can gather in the rain and the summer heat.
Seating dug into the ground, built by hand from the land.
Somewhere to rest, read, plan and work together.
Soft lights strung overhead so the evenings glow.
A bonfire spot and hammocks in the mimosa forest, joined by a lit path.
The door is open. Every contribution goes straight into the communal area.
